Maryland Welcomed Its Eighth Online Sports Betting Site

Sports betting has officially been legal in Maryland since November 2021, when casinos opened to customers who wanted to wager on sporting events. Betfred Maryland is the most recent mobile bookmaker to launch in the state, and it has partnered with off-track betting facility Long Shots for both retail and online services.

Though this is the eighth company of its kind in the Maryland area, there are still more operators scheduled to receive permits, including SuperBook.
